One of the Oldest New Thought Centers in the United States

A Historic Spiritual Home in the Heart of Pasadena

For over 100 years, Pasadena New Thought Center (formerly know as Church of The Truth) has offered a safe space for people to expand their consciousness and discover their true nature.

As one of the oldest Centers in the United States, it is rooted in New Thought tradition and open to people from all walks of life.

Our campus is a Pasadena “Historic Landmark Site” which includes the Sanctuary, Harmony Hall, and a beautiful garden.

PNTC offers a welcoming space to explore practical spirituality without pressure, judgment, or dogma.

Whether you are visiting for the first time, looking for a meaningful place to gather, or feeling called to help preserve a historic Pasadena spiritual community, you are welcome here.

Reverend Jeannie Soverns

11:00AM - 12:00PM

Holy Shift: Navigating Big Change Without Losing Yourself

Rev. Jeannie Soverns is a New Thought minister, speaker, spiritual coach, creator of the Holy Shift! brand, co-founder of Sofa Sundays, and a Veriditas-trained labyrinth facilitator.

Jeannie’s work lives at the intersection of spiritual truth and real life, which means she is not afraid of change, hard conversations, holy discomfort, or the occasional plot twist from the Universe. Through Holy Shift!, she helps people stop outsourcing their worth, remember who they are, and meet transformation with courage, humor, and spiritual backbone.

She is currently working toward her doctorate in Consciousness Studies through Emerson Theological Institute, deepening her exploration of healing, identity, consciousness, and the sacred art of becoming more fully ourselves.

Her message is rooted in recovery, resilience, ministry, and the lived practice of spiritual principles. Jeannie believes spiritual living is not about becoming shinier, quieter, or more impressive. It is about telling the truth sooner, trusting Spirit more deeply, and letting our lives become evidence of what we believe.

Through Sofa Sundays, Holy Shift!, and labyrinth work, Jeannie brings warmth, humor, and a grounded presence to spiritual community, especially in seasons of transition. Her message reminds us that a holy shift may feel uncertain at first, but it can also become the doorway to renewal, deeper faith, and a more authentic way forward.

Change your Thoughts. Change your Mind. Change your Life.

Welcome to our Center of loving, inclusive and compassionate spirituality. No judgements, pressure, or dogma. Just God, unity and truth. At our Center, we support you in taking charge of your life. We are here to assist in that process through a powerful teaching known as “New Thought.”

New Thought/Ancient Wisdom is actually not new. It is a practical, spiritual and scientifically based understanding and method of changing your experience by changing your Mind.
