Choosing Possibility
Greetings! This Sunday, February 2nd, we are excited to welcome back to the PNTC pulpit Rev. Rachael Dilling! Rev. Rachael is a licensed CSL Minister who comes all the way from Las Vegas, NV to share her wisdom with us. She leads by example by leading with her heart, as she also serves her community as a hospice chaplain. Rev. Rachael’s talk this Sunday is: “Choosing Possibility.”
Who remembers the game show “Let’s Make a Deal?” Monty Hall would give contestants the option of “playing it safe” and accepting a known quantity in his hand, or, they could opt for an unknown quantity behind one of the curtains that could yield either a greater or lesser prize. In other words, they could choose possibility. What are the risks? What are the rewards? Check-in with Rev. Rachael & hear what she has to say about it!
“Research has shown that music can have therapeutic effects on the mind and body. According to a study published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology, music therapy is effective in reducing anxiety and depression. By creating a serene state of being, music helps clear mental space for spiritual reflection and connection, promoting a healing journey from within.”
In other words, come for the beautiful music from Tom and our PNTC choir, stay for the spiritual connection, mental/emotional health and enlightenment! 🪷 🪷 🪷
